Dave Foster

Dave is an MBA with over 30 years of business experience leading teams in multiple business silos. He has served as Chief Revenue Officer, Vice President, and General Manager and is currently Managing Partner at the Country’s premier beauty sales agency. Dave’s omnichannel role has him touching all aspects of the business; in addition to running the day-to-day operations of the beauty brokerage firm, he is also the founding partner of a social media business built on user-generated positive content that exists to unite and inspire a community of shared values. Dave’s passion is to cultivate teams with an attitude of creativity in finding solutions to problems and asking, “Why can’t we do that?”
Marco Lopez

Marco is a Wealth Adviser with over 23 years of experience conducting Portfolio Management, Financial and Retirement Planning. He reports to clients to provide Economic and market outlooks, in order to dictate what allocation and direction the client needs to take. Marco’s passion is to be a ‘wise mediator of the Truth’ in his personal and professional life so that others can see Christ through him, and therefore life and the world through a renewed and Godly perspective.
Jason Kaiser

Jason is a pharmacist with over 31years owning & operating 3 healthcare businesses; he has served 8 years on local school board; Founder and President of the Bridge Medical Clinic – serving uninsured low-income individuals and families with medical and pharmaceutical needs; 15 years as Elder at First Christ Church; 3 years treasurer FCC board; 7 years board member Ferrell Hospital; 3 years Eldorado Chamber of Commerce; 15-year treasurer Eldorado youth Athletics; 3 years Illinois Pharmacist Association Board.
Jason’s passion is to continue his journey of character transformation through Christ so that through his witness of transformation people might experience a life of peace beyond understanding and a hope that never fails!
Steven McNeese

Steve is an executive and software guru with over 20 years of C-Level experience in privately owned service organizations leading all aspects of technology from infrastructure, security, cloud, software development, and support.
Steve’s passion is to help others come to an awareness that the life transformation and holistic healing he has experienced through a new and healthier way of eating and living are not only possible but within most individual’s reach.
Russ Melbye

Russ is an executive, entrepreneur and, business owner with over 30 years of executive and managerial experience, including Treasurer and Partner of a $10M outpatient imaging company, Principal of an equipment finance company, COO of a Public Insurance Adjusting Co., EVP of a commercial construction company, and currently founder and owner of a construction company.
Russ’s passion is to live every day authentically by Jesus’ example so that with the Lord’s compassion in his heart, he is able to provide others with love, friendship, & fellowship!
Kevin O'Neil, MBA
MLC Board Director
Kevin is an executive with over 14 years of experience in the financial industry. He is also a Nonprofit entrepreneur and his experience includes 10 years of sitting on executive boards with various organizations serving as a strategic planning consultant with executive team members.
Kevin’s passion is to be an advocate of the Gospel Kingdom while supporting others (individuals, companies, and non-profits) who are engaged in expanding God’s Kingdom in word and deed.
Elliott Caldwell
MLC Board Member
Elliott is a native of Alice, Texas. His family moved to Houston, Texas when he was 7 years old. At age 12, he was baptized. Elliott has been active in church ministries since the age of 13, serving in various capacities throughout a wide array of ministries at Progressive New Hope MBC and Brentwood Baptist Church in Houston. He was educated through the public school system in Houston and is a graduate of Houston Baptist University.
Upon moving to Dallas in 1997, Elliott joined Victory Park Baptist Church, where he was part of the SBC church plant team and served as a lead for the Christian Education Ministry. He has assisted with church growth models not only for Victory Park, but for Highland Park UMC.
In 2003, he became a member of Shiloh MBC, where he was part of the Men’s Ministry leadership team and the Men of Praise (Choir). He entered the LCMS through his connection with Eric Willis, and currently serves on the core leadership team for ART Church – DeSoto. Elliott has known God has prepared his heart and mind not to just enjoy the fellowship of believers, but to be engaged in such a way that lives out the Word by actions. Elliott is currently attending Lutheran Seminary.
Elliott loves traveling, sports, history and reading along with his passion of studying the Word. He enjoys meeting people, sharing ideas and encouraging others.
Chase Harmon

From sunny Southern California, Chase moved to Dallas, Texas in 2014. Leaving behind the ocean and mountains he loves and still misses, it took a powerful pull to plant roots in the Lone Star State. What might have seemed like a big leap at the time has proves to be unmistakably God’s plan – a story he is always grateful to share.
Chase relates deeply to the prodigal son rather than the one who stayed. By God’s grace, he now walks in a new life in Christ that is richer and more meaningful that he ever imagined. As Ephesians 3:20 reminds us, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imaging, according to his power that is at work within us.”
Chase is an active member of Watermark Community Church, where he serves in the special needs ministry. He has been involved with MLC since its inception and is honored to serve alongside a strong band of brothers on the board.
Professionally, Chase is an accomplished sales leader and entrepreneur in the financial services industry. He works with American Express and also built a successful mortgage team at Harmon Home Lending.
When he’s not working, you’ll most likely find Chase outdoors – snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing, golfing, playing volleyball, or on the pickleball court.

Obie Arellano
MLC Executive Director
Obie is a Garland resident and has lived in Dallas since 2007. He grew up and was educated in Mexico because his parents were missionaries. His family returned to the US in 1989 whereafter he finished his studies in Brownwood, TX graduating high school and Howard Payne University with a degree in art communication and a degree in creative writing. He is currently a systems analyst for a local law firm.
Obie has been married since 2009 and has two children. He and his wife Kim believe that their first ministry is the family so they invest heavily in the upbringing of their children.
Obie has served Jesus for almost 30 years and has been a part of the Men’s Leadership community since the beginning. Obie has always been a part of a church family and has always served in every capacity from Music (singing and playing guitar and piano), teaching, preaching, and leading home groups. He has always had a calling for teaching and discipleship and has a special heart for the Latino community. Obie enjoys playing and collecting video games and platforms, singing, camping, and spending time with his family. Obie and his family are members of FiveStone Community Church in Garland.
Dr. Andrew D. Whaley
MLC Founder & President
Andy is a pastor, professor, and entrepreneur with 20 years of experience in Christ-centered Discipleship, nonprofit faith-based organizational leadership, pastoral counseling, men’s discipleship, and entrepreneurial leadership mentoring.
Andy received his Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis in 2005, and he earned his Ph.D. in Systematic Theology in 2019.
His research field focuses on human flourishing through the holistic integration of beauty, goodness, and truth as it is embodied and embedded in the everyday life of the disciple of Jesus Christ.
Andy and his beautiful bride were married in 2004. They have been blessed with two beautiful children; their daughter Kate Addison who was born on January 31st, 2006, and went to be with Jesus on March 12th, 2006, and is currently in the eternal care of her Savior-King! And, their son, Samuel Addison who was born on September 20th, 2007, and is notorious for having won a knife fight with a world-renowned heart surgeon at 12 days old! Sam is now 16 years old and headed into his Junior year of high school.
Andy’s passion is to inspire, equip, and empower leaders to advance whole-life wellness through the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the midst of a broken world!
